In light of guidance on the Coronavirus, we are pleased to have launched our Hand Hygiene for Care Awareness Course.
Coronavirus also is known as Covid 19
The WHO has advised on the importance of good hand washing:
Wash your hands frequently
Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.
Why? Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands.
Our course should take no more than around 20 minutes. At the end, if you successfully complete the assessment you will be issued with a certificate of completion. This should help both individuals working in sectors from care to hospitality and more. It should also help employers ensure they are Coronavirus (Covid 19) aware and prepared.
Washing your hands properly can help prevent the spread of the germs (like bacteria and viruses) that cause these diseases. Some forms of gastrointestinal and respiratory infections can cause serious complications, especially for young children, the elderly, or those with a weakened immune system.
